Shimco has the capability to manufacture a wide range of metallic parts, non-metallic parts and parts requiring specialized coatings.

We continue to expand our production and capabilities while developing new products and additional OEM certifications.

As you may have heard, 2016 was a big year for us at Shimco. We moved into our new manufacturing facility in Cambridge, Ontario, expanded our business offerings and global footprint, and we were featured in major industry publications. Clearly, we’re doing things right and that trend continues.

Our primary focus is manufacturing small precision formed or machined parts built to customer specifications (coated or uncoated). This includes laminated shims, edgebonded shims, tapered shims, spacers and machined parts for the aviation, defense, maintenance-repair-overhaul, medical and other industrial markets.

We produce parts for customers who require several pieces to several thousand with our high-tolerance CNC milling machines, shears and horizontal lathes, all of which are put through our rigorous ISO 9001:2015 AS9100D certified quality program at every step. Shimco is also registered under the Canadian Controlled Goods Program and Joint Certification Program, allowing us to process ITAR controlled items.

As the demand for new aircraft continues to rise, we aim to meet that demand by improving our processes with new machinery upgrades and production capabilities.
