The supply chain event takes place March 26-28 in Seattle.
CAMBRIDGE, Ontario March 15, 2018 – Shimco, an award-winning, worldwide leader in the manufacture of precision parts and gap-management solutions will join the Ontario Aerospace Council (OAC) at the upcoming Aerospace & Defense Supplier Summit (A&DSS) in Seattle. The event will take place March 26-28 at the Washington State Convention Center.
A&DSS is a supply chain event that brings together aerospace and defense primes, tier suppliers and contract-manufacturers. Engineering, procurement, supply chain, fabrication, commodity teams, suppliers and service providers will meet through pre-arranged Business-to-Business meetings.
The event begins with a Boeing Conference Day, sponsored by the Boeing Company, featuring a full day of interactive presentations from supply chain leaders from Boeing Defense Systems, Boeing Commercial Airplanes, Boeing SSG shared business services, and Boeing Tier One supply chain partners. The second and third day features One-to-One Meetings and Workshops. Shimco and other OAC members will be in the Ontario Pavilion.
“The A&DSS event offers a unique venue with focused interaction between its participants to explore capabilities and technologies, that is more difficult to achieve in a larger-scale exhibition,” said Peter Voss, President and CEO of Shimco. “These industry events provide the ideal opportunity to strengthen our partnerships with current customers, other OAC members and meet new chain suppliers.”
