The company and the Voss family make generous donations to the Cambridge Memorial Hospital Foundation for new and expanded patient services.
CAMBRIDGE, Ontario (February 14, 2017) – Shimco, a world-wide leader in the manufacture of precision parts, specialized coatings and gap-management solutions and the family of Peter Voss, Shimco President, CEO and Owner recently made generous donations to support the Cambridge Memorial Hospital Foundation (CMHF) in its efforts to raise needed funds for new and expanded clinical services.
“Transformation CMH” is the community campaign to expand and redevelop its local Cambridge, Ontario hospital. The construction comprises a new wing and extensive renovation of the existing patient care wing, which will provide the necessary space for CMH to bring new and expanded clinical services to the community, including the purchase of crucial life-saving technology and equipment. The project includes 240,000 square feet of new construction and 150,000 square feet of renovations to the current B wing.
To support the CMHF campaign, Shimco donated $50,000 under the “Caring Businesses” program and $25,000 was separately contributed by the family, on behalf of Peter Voss, his wife Jennifer, and their children Benjamin and Hannah.
