Peter Voss, President and Owner of Shimco and Shimco’s senior management team attended the black-tie event to accept the award.
The Innovation award recognizes a successful business that fosters a culture of innovation in technology, manufacturing or marketing. An independent team of volunteers from the Markham business community interviewed nominees to determine the finalists and the award recipients. Ten local businesses were recognized as the best in their field at the Markham Board of Trade’s 24th Annual business Excellence Awards.
