Most metals require some kind of surface treatment to protect them from the environment, or harsh chemicals. Shimco is now offering metal surface treatments to protect metal surfaces. Our chemical tanks are 3’x3’x4’ (0.9mx0.9mx1.2m) in size.

A chemically cured epoxy primer that provides excellent corrosion and chemical resistance for aircraft detail and subassembly parts. When used as the base primer for specification approved epoxy and polyurethane topcoats, the primer/topcoat system provides the optimum protection for interior structural components. 670 HIHIDE TOPCOAT High Solids Fluid Resistant Polyester Polyurethane Topcoat Featuring high impact resistance, outstanding flexibility and excellent chemical and weather resistance, solvent based epoxy primers. Approved for BAMS 565-002 Class A Grade B, Class 33 and BAMS 565-002 Class A Grade B, Class 20 and BAERD BA500- 001 Rev C.
